This WAS a change of pace. However, I prefer your words, as you have good insights, offer cool inside info and write beautifully.
My personal favorite scene in "Apollo 13" was when the objects were dumped onto the table, in front of the engineers. ("We need to make THIS fit into THIS, using only THIS. Get to work.") My father was an aerospace engineer, so I was delighted to see his kind (properly) glorified!
